I don't use tip tape, as my Zziplex Rod Bells won't grip properly. Top tip: Use cocktail umbrellas to keep the rain of your rod bells. Already there mate. But if you find that the umbrellas catch the wind and shake your rod tips giving you false bites, just trim them down like i did. Do this with grauvell nail clippers. great tip , was getting a lttle worried with a hint of orange showing on the bells ;D ive tryed wrapping in a small carrier bag but its not really the done thing ;D

A lot of customers that bring thier rods in ask for the mighty bright tape spiralled on the top two sections. It's not as thick as the solas tape, and so doesn't look 'clumpy' at the tip, especially if it's a slender blank. and does a brilliant job, while being tastful at the same time. I'd recommend it.
