is "old george" still driving a Ford Model T then??  I use both and each has a purpose, but for simplicity and ease of use then its got to be the multiplier that comes out tops. Just my tenpence worth lighty |

go for it milo you wont go far wrong with a 7ht cast's straight from the box nice and easy to use not to bad a price new or second hand or go for abu 6500mag a bit dearer but you do get second hand one turn up from time to time or they do a cheaper power handle not a bad reel for £50 notes you can always upgrade later  |

100% worth it my son, wouldnt fish with anything else. Had mine for years, and to be fair ive treated them quite bad but with the occasional service (once a year) they work just as well as the day i got them.
Get myself in alot of tangles/birdnests (hence the name) but they really are a joy to use
