Check out the new look BBC weather site on the web.
It is rather good and I have found very accurate.
It gives predictions by the hour.
Just type in yer post code , and off you go.
Mind you it is not perfect. It said I would get me end away with Mrs Oldfart at 10.30 last night, but she got a headache;; so that's that for another year.
Still have a look anyway.

It's not a bad model of how to present information - a useful thumbnail picture onto which you can mentally overlay some of the local patterns particularly local wind. Wind - now there's a thing.
Being old-school, I do get still get annoyed about the lack of isobars in the mainstream style of presenting weather - they do give the chance to draw your own conclusions about what's to come, and from where.

100% agree with you. . I like a good weather chart. Trouble is now a lot of people don't know how to read one!
