Sorry about the delay chaps. I've been wracked with conflicting opinions on this one, it has resulted in several sleepless nights. Clearly a very complicated case. The lighting and arrangement of the photo in question is quite clearly of a very high class. The artist is quite obviously up with the greats like the prolific Squidhead and the post modern SoleHunter. This photo clearly creates a new genre, that of the "Time Lapse Blank". Where the blank is captured in all it's slow motion agony. Very moving. But... The structure in the middle of the scene is blatantly a bloke facing away from you having a slash. This is where the picture is let down. Also, a schoolboy error was made early in the composition : Not having a rod rest and rods in situ. This is unforgivable. Overall, this is a gnats genitals away from being a classic, but is still a mould breaking addition to the photoscape. Steve.  |
