great before and after pics you look to have made a great job, our 1st boat was the dejon14 hope you have some good sessions in it

ye cheers steve just waiting on a carb , got lights just need a mast for them . electronics on way from usa. cant wait it will be like christmas .lol hope to test launch in scarbrough on bank hol monday .

lol. the engine in pic is knaked  .bought wiout test . startsbut dieswhen throttle applied. iv looked at carb and the brass tube which fuel goes up dunt seemright it minght be getting too much juice. |

With out dampening things, I see the engine IS a tad old. Although i hate to say it, its days may be numbered. Best to be safe mate and use the boat not far from shore or take an auxiliary engine with you. I think i`m right in saying Johnson ended up as evinrude and then evinrude ended up as mariner.......(i may just have embarrassed myself ten fold) All good engines, but i feel on the saftey side, you may want to get an expert opinion as to how good your johnson is. Hope its a goodun mate.

ye i thought the same my life depends on it so am guna put on ebay as needs attention. wi buying new vhf , plotter and stuff leaves mi wi about 1100 to get another . send pm if ya know of a motor wi remotes25 -30 hp. cheers kez

insured boat today, pic engine up tomorrow . got the best deal around york marine supplies. 2006 df25 electric start control box cables, tank +fuel line 2299 . they beat other dealers by min 200&500 quid goes to show the profit they make
