Like the sound of that but have thought of a cheaper way: Get some old lighting cable (most of us have some lying around), strip the current carriers out of the sheath by pulling then with fine pliers then cut the sheath into suitable lengths. Secure the length of sheath to the back end of the snood with a bead and a crimp. I find that this is effective in preventing the snood wrapping itself round the sinker spikes etc. when there is fast tide flowing.

I have used this style of rig for flounder fishing for years to great success.
Not a big fan of the wishbone or as in the diagram where the hooks end very close to each other as ive had no end of flounders take both baits thus eliminating the chance of a double shot. i like to have approx 2-3ft main snood with a 6-8'' snood coming off approx 10'' down from the weight so they are spaced nicely apart.
I actually had a double shot of sole on this rig last year.
I also like to use abit of clear silicone tube pushed over the eye of the swivel about 6'' long to stop the line wrapping around the weight if im using a gripper.
