hello people getting the 3-5oz anyfish anywear rod just want to know are the good rods? i got told they arnt very good on the butt??? but im guess the rods going to have to live with it ;D

sorry mate i am to attached to my power head and moonraker to buy a anyfish anywhere rod, or should i say my wife is too attached to her purse strings to buy one. but i have heard good things about them. there was a thread about them not long ago so it is worth looking around.

As i said my mate uses 1, reel up, prefers it that way on it. Nice light rods for clean ground, if i didnt have my TT Lite 13ft, i would be tempted with 1 of these. Have you thought about the AFAW 12ft Universal 2-5oz, reel seat in high position for f.s./multi use?.

Don't bother putting the reel down on any rod 13ft or less. I used to see a lot of the casting-obsessed Sandown and Lake kids doing it, and how I laughed at them trying to reel in big lumps of weed with about 1 inch of butt below the reel

With rods less than 13 foot you will cast further with the reel up.

nop totaly diff i tried reel up for 1 houre 2day down beach and my casts went futher reel down. (alot futher)
