I think the mag elite is a very good reel you should be able to pick up one of the green ones (Model before the latest ones out) new(ish) for around £70 or less which from what you say is more like your budget.

I doubt you will do better for the money.

just be careful buying cheaper 6500s mate, the cheap ones have japanese gears ans are only assembled bt abu
