I was amazed to learn that white ragworm was being sold to match anglers at 50p per worm, Ive never used them or even came across them, are they really that good? Bill In my experience 'whites' wont pick out better fish over regular rag but may make the difference on a slow day hence the price paid by the match anglers prior to a comp - it could make all the difference. King rag I rate highly, I have had success with it fished on a long flowing trace into structure. Its much hardier than smaller worms & even threaded fully up the snood with the hook petruding the tail seems to stay alive for alot longer. As good as some fish live baits on its day. Harbour rag (maddies) piled on the hook with plenty of wriggling tails are a favourite for the flatties.
