so how do u actually fish with the fly then? ive seen people flicking their rod so the fly goes in water, then out again etc, wot is this for etc? do u need a weight or float or sumthing of just the fly on its own/ what rigs. cheers putting it simply the weight is in the fly line,like lead core, there have been hundreds of books written on how to fly cast,and rather than waste your money on buying a few of them,get youself some fly casting lessons from a fly casting instructor,they are not cheap but worth every penny and some,its very easy to learn to cast badly from the start,and once you get into bad habits it is very difficult to rectify them,so save yourself a lot of heartache and learn properly from the start,  i hope this helps and good luck,trust me when you feel that 1st fish tug your line,its the next best thing to sex,  regards bob |
