kool. id love to try a langoustine  . i wouldnt eat it how mr bean eats it in mr beans holiday. do they taste good? Have you ever eaten scampi? It's the same thing  |

Crevettes or french harbour prawns (same thing)our good as they our saltwater prawns you can buy them fresh in most decent fish mongers.On the isle of wight you can normally get them from philips fine food but best give them a ring first to make sure.

Hi guys just a thought have any of you tried the cantonesse whole salers in princes st, southampton, as i buy a whole 5lb box of prawns for £3, 5lb box of sqidd for £2.50 even when poindesters have run out in winter time, sometimes it pays to get there early as its where the resturants get their food from.Tony

I saw a nice big box of langoustine in the freezer in Lidl. £8.99 for a kilo, must admit I reckon they could be a killer for smut or bass but not sure I could resist chucking them in the pan and munching the whole lot myself. Had them at The New Inn on my birthday, in a pernod cream sauce - Awesome!
