28gram dexter wedge with a white gill or feather teaser two foot up the line
Hi Mike Please can you tell me your rate retreve, do you use this rig from a boat, areas that you use the rig, any tips would be great, Like the idea of the teaser just up from the Dexter, does it make a fair amount of difference, i suspect it would. Thanks and best regards Graham

I wouldn't even know where to start! But I'll give it a pop.
Duo Tide Minnow 175 (orange and gold) O.S.P Rudra (tasty shad) deps Balisong 130SW (ghost ayu) Yo Zuri Mag Popper (smaller size green mackerel) Maria Chase BW (hollow silver) O.S.P Yamato (ghost minnow) Deps Buzzjet (ghost ketabass) Toby 28g (both silver and bronze) Jackson Athlete 14FS (like a greeny/silvery colour) Jackson Artoron (blue sardine) Jointed thunderstick (black silver) Zenith Zclaw (think it's called ghost something) Jackson Artist FR105 (silver sides with a sorta black back)
I could go on, sadly. That's not even soft plastic lures either which i'm just starting to learn about.

Being a traditionalist I use a variety of spinners for different applications.
Floating Plug inshore. MEPS out to about 15m. Toby for spinning at range, up to about 30m. Dexter for heaving great lobs over deep, weed free water.
Alternatives: Bubble float and Stuart Tackle up to about 20m Devon minnow for general applications; floating and sinking
All the rest of 'em are designed to catch the angler more than the fish!

So if it isn't a meps/toby/dexter/devon minnow or bubble with Stuart it was only designed to catch the angler? What a ridiculous statement! I'm guessing you had your tongue in cheek when you wrote that?

I'm guessing you had your tongue in cheek when you wrote that? When I look at the huge range of plugs and lures on sale, that is what springs to mind, Plug! I once went for a fish with a well-known gentleman by the name of Hargreaves, now sadly deceased. It was his comment on the then new ranges of plugs. His comments were quite genteelly pungent on their performance. I've no doubt he'll be turning in his grave at the weird get-up of the Bass Fishing Fraternity, as well! I've no doubt others would say the same thing about the traditional lures and dress. Tongue in cheek? Of course!

Madfish lures - designed for the north west coast of Scotland have proved brilliant for Pollock , Mackerel and have even caught sandeels and Wrasse. The are some of my latest buys. Deadly Skye & Crazy Joe plus a reworked Deadly Skye with a Jigskinz cover. It's a good job I live on the furthest point of North West Skye Attachments:
