Hello!
Not been on the forum for a while, just purchased my first fishing boat! Considering I spend most of my time in and out of Haslar marina it seem like the logical thing to do.
The problem is transporting it. Ive bought it off a guy in Tipner angling club as she came off her moorings and washed up on shore and rubbed a hole in the hull. Fixings its not a problem as I wuill put it on stilts in Haslar but its big enough that I can float her up the hrabour and have it craned out.
I need to move it on a trailer wich normaly wouldnt be a problem accept its 20ft and all my mates have 17ft trailers wich ther 18ft dorys hang out of and are single rear axel were as I need twin wheels on the rear. You cannot hire a trailer for love nor money.
What im asking is, does any kind hearted sole here have a 20ft boat trailer they would be willing to lend for a day and of course I will cross there palm with silver for it!
Im literaly going from pompey to gosport and it wont even sniff the water as the boat it currently on stilts and will be craned on and off.
Anyone who can help please let me know!
