So your telling us you were out in a kayak in all the wind and swell etc.
You won't be around to tell the tale for much longer, i hope all these bass are well worth it.
I was out today in my tender in chichester harbour and i'm telling you although it is really sheltered i didn't hang around to long, that tide and height of the waves is not too clever. I was in a fibre glass boat with engine and it wasn't nice.
So good luck to you. You'll need it if you keep this up.

Thanks for your concern but I no what I'm doing , the wind was a south westerly and Bembridge is on the East coast of the Island which offers some shelter when close in. I wouldnt go out if i thought couldnt handle it and it would take a hell of a wave to knock my kayak over, so long as you keep an eye out for rogue waves your ok and all the weather adds to the fun. plus i have been fishing Bembridge ledge since i was a kid. also being in sea kayak is alot safer than being in a small boat in some conditions its alot easier to go with the wave than it is with a boat.

Well as you keep saying you obviously know the area very well.
It wasn't advice, just a statement, it certainly looks as though you seem to catch a huge amount of bass. For some strange reason though there seems to be a lack of photos to back this up.
Most people on this forum are well aware how easy it is to pick up bass at bembridge ledge however they choose to search out specimen fish, at other marks that you probably don't know quite as well.
We can all post, day after day, stating what we've caught, for instance i caught a 32lb bass last night while i was water sking behind my boat on a skateboard, unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture before i released it, shame i know as it was a fish of a lifetime.
Now nasty isn't they way to be on this forum, i was just trying to suggest you take it a bit easy chasing bass out of bembridge on bad weather days. If you choose to, thats up to you and your choice.
It is just in my experience, i have found that people who are really cocky, are not usually as good as they make themselves out to be.
I really don't want to keep slagging at each other but if you feel you must, go ahead, it's water of a ducks back to me and i won't even bother replying anymore. As far as breakers are concern i have no idea what your talking about, good luck keep lucky

michael i wasnt beeing nasty i come on here and give a report on how my days fishing went, i respect the sea as much as anyone and im not cocky. i just no what i can handle from experiance.
i have nothing to prove to anyone i caught 110 bass from a kayak this summer fact!! everyone in this area who knows me has seen these fish.
oh and dude my dads gotta 31ft boat and i have fished alot of marks. i choose to fish in the kayak it adds a bit of sport to fishing rather than just sticking down a bit of lead with a dead bait.
do you even fish from a kayak??? i was not slagging u off your making up an argument in your head im sure your a very good fisherman, happy fishing
