7 BASS

Hi guys over slept in this morning so didnt get out until 10am fished my way along the ledge to st helens fort, ended up catching 7 Bass, 5 keepers 1x5lb 1x3lb 2x2lb and 1x16 inches, had white bait jumping all around me at one point cast straight into them bam 5lb bass nice, came back at 1.30pm filleted my fish and off out again at 4pm for another bash. happy fishing to all the world is beautiful

oh and did anyone see that 50ft cruiser stuck on Bembridge ledge lol all the gear and no idea

Hi guys went out again caught 4 more Bass,1 garfish and 2lb wrasse, 2 of the Bass were keepers around 2lb, plus i lost one of a similar size, the biggest thing i caught tonight was a herran gull it took my lure whilst i was trawling, it was funny seeing my lure in its beak as it tried to fly away, but not much fun dislodging the lure from its beak the trebble hook had gone straight through it. offerd the guys on the cruiser a tug lucky they saw the funny side and i felt sorry for them cos they only came out for a fish but underestimated the tide and ruined there props trying to get off, so i spent the last hour watching the lifeboat pull it off the ledge, made a horrible noise as it dragged off

HI guys went out this morning fished by the fort for 3 hours and caught 1 garfish :-( was terrible but lovely day though but i supose thats how lure fishing goes sometimes, on my way back to lane end tho i caught a 2.5lb Bass which made my day, going out again later and have a go low tide has been fishing quite well recently. and yes pjl83 me and my family eat most of them and sort out friends and neighbours occasionally like yday cos dad caught loads of fish as well, hes already had 2 cod today that i no of so hopefully get to eat some cod cheeks later with my Bass there yummy!

No i dont give up fishing in the winter just dont go as often i love Bass fishing its my favourite type of fishing. i want to get a cod on the kayak

Not a great day for me fishing wise tonight i also only caught 1 bass about 1.5lb i put it back, also caught 2xpollock 1xtiny and one was probably in size but not worth keeping so all in all apart from the 2.5lb bass I had this morning a pretty awful days fishing :-(

Popped out for a hour after work and caught 1 Bass about 15 inches and lost another small one, im happy it was just nice to get out. shame its getting dark so early now.

Your joking? Its great not having to wait until 23:30 for the darkness, ie, best fishing time!

not for lure fishing though I've only caught 2 in the dark
