Well I have started the thread which will carry on untill the viking is refitted! First step new engine as the old one was very tired   Here is the engine for transplant very low hours and only used to work a compresser  Went over the hamble today to help monkeynuts take out the old engine. Here is the old girl coming out.  bye   she looks kind of empty but ready for the transplant   hopefully get her back for the weekend and refitt from the first of april. All the best Andy |

Is the new red one the same HP? Dave same engine but a much newer version rated at 85hp rather than 80 hp even thou they were rated more like 75hp in the earlier model.So mabe it might be 80 hp :cheers: |

another major set back she was sunk today on the mooring A rib tied along side and one of the people trod on the water cooling pipe that cools the bearing in the shaft which made it sink you can see the thinner black pipe in this picture going to the prop shaft at the bottom. whoever did it knows for suer as the water would have pissed out  But some good should come out of this as the boat now has to have a total rewire with new batterys new radar switch panels the lot |
