It seems to me that all the Battery chargers that I ever had only charged one way, and that was to charge up the batteries till a certain temperature was reached and then cut off, and also seems to me that that is no way to charge a battery properly? considering the price of rechargeables. What I wanted was an intelligent charger, as just blown up my old one, a store in Newport had them in I found but at £46 ish was a no no. Good old google, found some reviews and the Technoline BL-700 battery charger at Battery logic seemed to be the biz, reviews on it were excellent. Had one now for a while, its it is good with capital letters and will do everything that you need to do to keep your batteries in good shape and at £27 was a lot cheaper than other similar i/chargers. So if you are looking for a decent charger that comes equipped with loads of functions then the BL-700 comes highly recommended! www.batterylogic.co.uk/technoline/technoline-BL700.asplighty

Nice one, i could do with one of those as i now only have one of them `plug` type ones and its slow as hell. It was only 7 quid from hurst with 8 batteries... I still have 4 AA eveready batteries that i used to use in my walkman at school. Over 20 years old now and still holding charge in my TV remotes.
