as good as my local tackel shops are for bait , bits and bobs. thay are near usless for repairs on my rods and a lot of my kit is at the annoying point in its life when tip eyes and guide rings are worn out / broken . so im looking for a good quality place to get them sorted, the worst rod to get fixed seems to be my suveron 20-30lb, no one around hear has got good quality tip eyes that small. anyone got any ideas??? dont mind traveling if thay do a good job cheers john

Quite recently replaced two of my tip rings myself using hot melt glue successfully. Got the rings from an ebayer in Cardiff who seems to have quite a large selection, quite reasonable too.

A lot of the bass boats use these rods, but they hate the single leg guides! The normal is they work loose and twist around! The normal rebuild for the commercial boats is to replace them with double legged guides.
