Just picked one of these up off slippery,
Very good rod so far, took it down the field for a few casts and performs very well. The butt is very thin so no troubles gripping the multiplier with your thumb. Rod feels, and is very, powerful with a reasonably sensitive tip.
It's not the best rod to look at, as it's pretty bland, but performs lovely. It feels fairly heavy when its rigged up and being carried, but as the cast is started the weight seems to disappear and performs lovely. I am nit picking though about the weight as it isn't overly heavy.
First few cast was just to get a feel and about 100 yards each. Third cast was with a decent amount of effort and just seemed to hit it right, i had the 7ht filled to about 2mm from the lip of the spool and it near on emptied the lot.
So to sum it up, i'm very impressed and it doesn't take as much effort to get a decent cast as some other rods do. I will point out that, i was casting on a field and as yet haven't tried it out for bite detection, but i don't think it will let itself down.

NICE!! They do have a good rep. I know nick tried to snap it with some mental pendulum casts but failed!

Heard a lot better stuff about it than the 6&bait rods.

i have the six and bait rod and i find it great for the price i also use a century cm bb and feel that with both rods in my holdall i have no worries about fishing different types of ground. the six and bait is a little on the heavy side but apart from that combine it with a 6500 mag and you are flying a lead 120 plus with ease.

dont rate these any more . had one snap on me 8 inches down from the top when they first came out. but i will say this, there all right for clean beaches and small fish ( sorry each to your own)

I would say that its the same as the Greys Mk2s made in the far east, good rods but the QC lets bad apples slip through the net.

I've had congers to over 40lb on mine and they have coped with fishing the Purbeck rock marks and portland!
