Here's a pic of my sons Pb Barbel came in at 121b. 14oz, caught from the river thame in Oxfordshire on Saturday. not salt but it keeps things going, ;D

well before all the salties give the post the usual short shrift Id like to add Mr B is my fav fish. Only had a 10lb 2oz PB from old father Thames in 1976 night fishing me mate had buggered off home and I didnt have a landing net so jumped on a moored boat and borrowed his. Hissed the owner off but I was well chuffed. The Thame is home to some proper crackers and your sons is testiment to that.....lovely looking fish Maxwell. Gazza
