HI EVERYONE I AM BACK AGAIN WITH RADIO COMMUNICATION ISSUES. I HAVE FINALLY PURCHASED A DSC VHF RADIO AND WHEN I READ THE PAPERWORK I HAVE NOW FOUND OUT I NEED AN MMSI ACTIVATION CODE DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE OR HOW I GO ABOUT AQUIRING ONE OF THESE :rtfm: MMSI NUMBERS

Contact Ofcom Licencing Centre, Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Rd, London, SE1 9HA. Tel; 02079813131 They issue Ships radio licences which give you your MMSI. Hope that helps.

Hi there I got my mmsi number by going on the ofcom website in about five minutes I also got a ship radio licence at the same time so at least they cant do me for having the radio on my boat despite not having the license to use it  And they were both free |
