Hi all, Ok my mate Dale aka Digidy wants a new boat, but he can't decide. What's peoples thoughts on this boat? We know the owner and its a 19' Pilot 520 with fishfinder and Vhf radio. Trailer is also exellent and made from galvinized steel. The engine has done very few hours, can't remember what he said exactly now. So the question is, would you pay £4,500?      |

Looks like a reasonable sale although he may want to look into the engine as iirc there have been masses of problems with that particular model.

its a buyers market and seems a bit tatty for the price!But the boats are great dont know about the engine

I had a evinrude fict ram 115hp on my old fish egale searaider and it was the wost thing i ever got i should of just brunt the £7500 i paid for it new. 18moths of being pulled back in and evinrude would not change the sh*t. and got £1500 on a trade in on a new 100hp yam that is 4/5 years old now and still working fine i think. :confused:

Well thanks for your thoughts, it is a good boat but i didn't realize how poor those engines were regarded.
So on that note he won't be going for that one.
