I would suggest a Sea-hog
There are quite a few in the 15ft range from the Hunter & Shortie to Sea Jeep etc.
With a 40hp /50hp it will be plenty fast enough.
Lots depends on your budget, and state of boat/engine
Good hunting

I have a wilson 17 and they are really safe boats, the only thing is at anchor they do slap a bit, but I guess that's a minor thing considering how stable the boat is.

thanks for the replys ,regarding the dejon i have taken it out further than i probably should but if there are two of you and are disciplined you should be ok. i found it a bit hairy at times throwing the anchor walking round the front but as a boat to use 2 or 3 miles out as long as you have all the saftey equipment they are value for money. i have since found that even a wilson 14 wont fit on the drive ,does anybody know the rough overall length of an orkney coastliner with outboard fitted regards dave

Add about 3 or 4 feet to your overall length for that size, depends on trailer type, I have a warrior 165 (16.5') and its a bit of a squeeze in a 20 foot space.
