are wrasse any good for bait and if so what do they catch also do they work from the beach

never tried them as bait. i know the small ones will work as livebait for bass

are wrasse any good for bait and if so what do they catch also do they work from the beach any help would be appreciated cheers smallish ones live or dead good for bass but not alot else. seem to work better if u use them were u caught them-around piers,rocks etc can be deadly ,simple runnin leger 4/0 to 6/0 hook and just lip hook them if they r upto 5 inches or so, a decent bass will take the lot no trouble ;D

ooooh you aint wrong, it bagged me a fair few at times when the live was gettin hit by 2 n 3 pounders the frozen would pick a better fish out normally 6lb plus
