I BLANKED.... Left home 6.30am (wont bore you with travel details) arrived on the Island around 10, had already made my mind up to walk from West Cowes round to Gurnard, so after a hearty brekkie at Eegons thats what i did...nowt, ziltch, not a touch.... Still it was nice to get out an after a dull start to the day turned out lovely an sunny... :sunny: next time i'll plan the trip to catch high water an not low :bash:

good effort mate. next time you come, bring some beach gear and stay on the beach for a night too you'll get something.

bit gutted for you actually mick u put a lot of plannin and effort into the trip and deserved a fish or two, when u next plan to come over i will try and meet up with u and hopefully put u on a fish or two ;D

Looking to get over at least once a month BK, would be good to meet someone with a bit of local knowledge ;D Greysfanboy, you're not wrong about eegons brekkies, well worth a fiver.... mind you to many of em i'll start lookin like my avatar.. ;D

Unlucky Mate, but your not the only one, i was fishing yesterday with a couple of blokes from Norfolk, (just met them by chance) they had been here for three days, fished every day, 1, 7oz wrasse between them,ffs,
