Yeah shame their newer beach rods aren't as hard as that fly rod  But you're sorted now Dave with a couple of tough originals |

There was an article in 1 of the mags some time back showing a Greys Platinum beach rod being tested this way. Greys/Hardy,s have a guy doing this full time across the whole range of rods, Shame yours popped on 4oz & squid,makes you wonder if it slipped through the Q.C. net?...
