Never caught a flounder on sandeel, but was gutting one once caught from Bembridge harbour and it had about 3 halves in it... they were all clean cut, suggesting it had hoovered up some old bait thrown in ;D years and years ago when ryde front produced big flatties i did actually see a geez catch the biggest ,fattest flounder on a sandeel it really was a monster ......duno what it weighed was too busy doin other things ;D |

Back up here its normally a quarry of
Dogfish, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Baby Dogfish, Medium Dogfish, Big Dogfish, Effing huge Dogfish, Baby Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Massive Lesser Spotted Dogfish,.
There is a few more species of fish but cant think of them.........
Yep got it Bloody Dogfish
In fact sandeel will catch most species of that loveable fish all anglers love :arg: DOGFISH :arg:

Back up here its normally a quarry of Dogfish, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Baby Dogfish, Medium Dogfish, Big Dogfish, Effing huge Dogfish, Baby Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Massive Lesser Spotted Dogfish,. There is a few more species of fish but cant think of them......... Yep got it Bloody Dogfish In fact sandeel will catch most species of that loveable fish all anglers love  DOGFISH  get me some decent sandeels for when i come up to north wales and we'll go for a dogfish session   |
