Birthday approaching, wish list includes uptide gear. had a look at rods: Abu Suveran Pro (4-8 oz) looks like it fits the bill nicely, but I just wondered if the adjustable butt wears at all? Does it still work fine a few years down the line?

And any suggestions for a reel (multiplier)?
