Id make one if i were you. Not too difficult, either way just make sure its not too heavy or you'll struggle to pull it up. Oh & one more thing, if you intend to leave it soaking for a few days, expect some thieving twonk to have taken it!

make sure you hide it well, remember the tides, booby traps work well for theives !
have a mosey around your local fishing port, they may well have some old pots.
