your need to spend more than that. ive just my first yak. getting the yak was the cheap bit at £690 then i spent a £1000 on gear, wet and dry suit, flares, anchor chain and rope, life jacket, fishfinder/chartplotter, nav light, paddle, leashes, etc it all adds up.
dont skimp on safety, your pay £200-£300 on a decent dry suit, but it could save your life!

im not planing on getting a wet suit just yet gonna stick with a dry top and bottoms not an all in one and im not gonna be going out at night for at least a few weeks i wanna get used to fishing off one in the day and im not really bothered about a plotter at the moment either, i'll be happy enough going to places i know or just crusing around with a fishfinder on to see if any nice little banks or shelfs pop up

front zip sounds ok, the only thing is is that i do sweat alot for some strange reason so it would be handy if i could atleast take the top bit off if i get too hot.
