Couldn't get out last weekend due to a back injury so I decided to try the mark I would have fished then today.Weather was definately better last weekend but I had the bonus of a bit more wind allowing me to use the sail. Only thing was, there were 1,700 other boats making the same journey :ahhh: Left Keyhaven at 10 to join the traffic jam, this guy didn't have the same problem It was absolute mayhem once out past Hurst point,I kept well away from all the fun and games Made my way out past the Needles and settled on a mark a little West to my preferred option but well away from the mayhem, over 11 miles from my launch point(round trip 23.3 miles) Caught plenty of mackies for bait but nothing bigger,ah well :stoned: Although I didn't get much time for fishing it was great to get offshore again One thing I must say, I've never heard so many callouts before, men overboard on a couple of occasions ,boom injuries, rudder failure(who needs them )injured divers, bet the rescue services are as knackered as I am
