so i had decided to give langston ago as my get to know my kayak run
set my alarm for 6.30 got up turned it off and went bak to bed and woke up a 7.30.
was down langstone for 8ish and in the water for the 1st time ever
got the hang of paddleing straight away and had decided to go to the top end of the harbour to a spot i used to fish at the nature reserve i got there at around 10oclock so a good 2hrs of paddleing but i did stop on the way as mackerel or bass where giving the white bait some stick, was good to see
nearer the top end i see some reeds poking out of the water so i though i'd go have a butchers to see if any bass were in there and as i guessed i was right, looking like a nice 5/6lb bass swam under the yak.
when i got to the mark i couldn't help it a slaped on my j11 repala and trolled on my way bak (you really though i'd go out without a rod? lol) well about 10 bass had fallen to it the biggest being close to a lb and a very happy me!!!!!
hoping to get out one night during the week and try ancoring up this time, didn't really want to do that on my own 2day but now i have a feel for the yak the next trip will be full of more confindence!!!
i have got a few pic's of my yak on the bank but trying to work out how to get them off my phone so i'll most prob post them abit later on.
