Hi! a question please to anyone using a humminbird FF in a kayak, do the units come with a power lead,or is upto the user to buy a lead and battery pack separately?.-best options please for batt duration  I am thinking of the 343 FF but welcome members suggestions on models and experiences with them. Further,are transducers best fixed inside to sound through the hull or is a sucker external fitment better. Very impressed with members rigged out kayaks and fishing reports on here,hope to be adding some of my own soon! Cheers! :cheers: |

Cheers!  they all come with a battery lead  a 7.2ah sla battery will do for the 343 transducer sikaflexed in hull is best,a sucker and over the side will cause drag |

Thanks for your reply Richi,sorry to sound so dumb but what is an sla batt and what voltage are we talking?,i do have some radio control model li-poly packs -11.1 volt upto 2500 mah,any good?

go on batterymaster, i just got a 9ah 12v sla from there for £15 which inc vat and delivery only took 2days to get here
