Have you read my post about the Firefly bass rod? - just over 12 ft and nice and light. They go for around £60 and you are welcome to try mine any time you like.

stick to something around 12 foot or so milo,as your still a young nipper dont get anything too heavy in weight or to stiff in action. a second hand tip tornado maybe or abu xodus would suit you ,zzilpex powertex bass   but prob a bit pricey but sooooooo worth it ;D a hundred quid is a decent amount to get a quality bit of kit nipper so dont think you gota settle for junk . i will keep my eyes open incase something suitable crops up have you considered a decent bass rod, these will cast upto 4oz and are a great nippers type mini beachcaster . offer kingcrackoff a oner for both his ccc ;D  Cheeky git! Wouldn't take anything less than £120!!! |

This rod is still for sale on another website and he lives on the south coast but if you were interested im sure you could arrange summit.

This is a lovely slim through action rod, which comes with a very long reducer (21''), which when added brings the rods total lenght to over 15', great for keeping the tip higher and avoiding the weed of bringing in big fish like Smuts, should you be lucky enough, The reducer can simply be cut shorter if you wish?
Rod is rung for multiplyer use with Fuji guides, has very grippy X weave shrink tube and Orange reflective tape between the top 3 Guides which is sealed under the vernish and cant get damaged.
Rod is in exelent condition and only been used a handfull of times, there are a few very minor marks on the blank from the rod rest, and a few little rust marks on some of the tip section guides. but other then that its pukka.

I have and enjoy using this rod for my multi casting although if you intend on using it off some of the islands rougher ground
then I wouldnt think this would be up for it......sand and shingle
then its a nice rod for the money hes flogging it for.
