:catch: Can anybody recommend a suitable centrepin for mostly pier fishing. I really feel much more in control with a centepin but cant seem to find a suitable one. I used to use an Allcocks "Sea Knight" which was simple to use and perfect for fishing Sarfend Pier. I dont need one of those Leviathan/Commodore/Fortuna jobs as I dont deal in scrap metal but still not sure whether the Coarse fishing stuff could stand up to being matched to an "Anyfish Anywhere" 4 ozer. Any ideas/experiences out there? Many thanks. Special cheers to those who remember the Black Raven. :drink:

Thanks Sailorboy Rob, Ok they are a tad expensive but they look well worth it and theyve got a reel for every occasion. Now I've got to either find somebody here who sells them or wait until Nov. when I'm off to South Africa. Seems they are really popular there as well.

Sharnbrooke tackle is based in bedford mate and its all mail order so no probs there. If you`re heading to SA they will be dirt cheap as everything is out there.
