Hello All
I have been kayak fishing on some large fresh waters and off the East coast over the past year. I have had some success but find the paddling side a bit tiring when fighting against wind, swell and tides. The last time out on Coniston I seemed to do more paddling than fishing.
I have decided that a powered boat is the way to go and would like something that can manage sea and fresh water trips. I will be going out with a mate and we are both big blokes! The boat will have to have a fair weight capacity and stability.
I was thinking about a Seahog 16ft. Does anyone here have one? Are they suitable for the purposes I have outlined?
I'd appreciate any advise.
Regards, Ken

Been a few poor reports on the Seahogs build quality of late so you would do well to investigate before making a decision. Whatever you decide you should have a sea test before commiting.
