I thought about one but wasnt sure how long it would take before I got grit down the side of the dial on the side plate. I havent heard many reports of people`s experiances with them so as they say no news is good news!

sound like my kinda boot sale!! all you get at my local one is crap! and its more often than not overpriced for what it is. seems people want too much for stuff these days! you wouldnt think they are trying to get rid of stuff!

Bk the comment about the dog! thats my wife lmao1!! thats fine mate, each to their own and hope you enjoy  but please no pics ;D .................................................................................... the reel will be fine, just keep the magney control ring clean as it does attract muck............you can remove it and replace with the slider control off a mag elite but its just down to personal preference... its a nice reel at a bargain price that should give you plenty of good fishing....dont be afraid of it the magnetic control makes life easy enjoy |

I would go for and 18lb line till you get used to it the drop down to 12 or 15lb. I would start with some thing like berkley big game as its very tough and will survive an over run or 2. I find the hi vis green one casts best.

there's going to be no nests!!! well hopefully. i pick things up pretty quickly apart from putting worms on the hook. never liked that and don't know if i'll be converted!! anyone gets out down southsea who can lend me a hand gimmie a shout plz!!
