:catch: :fished off of south wight sunday eve on yak, and I know it sounds like a typical fishermans tale, but true nonetheless, but fished with my prize spinning rod and experimental terminal rig for the the bars of silver and had around fifty, ok I had to return thirty one of them due to being undersize, but 19 were keepers at aroung two pound each. To add to that the water was like a mirror, the sun was beautiful, with just the sound of the yak on the water and the bass topping. Yak fishing can be so productive at times, and in harmony with the element on which we float. So grateful for a wonderful session.

I dont know about the storage capacity of a Kayak but I have been out at times when everyone on the boat was catching bass 6 or even 7 at a time on a string of Hokkis and a pirk so the numbers dont supprise me at all! When a shoal gets feeding they will eat just about anything! We have a comp every year where the only lure allowed are sweets and have seen bass into double figures landed, at the end of the day they are aggressive predators and when they are feeding hard you can catch as many as you want on just about any method!

i have an x factor malibu kayak, fourteen footer, and with a certain supermarker crate tucked at rear had ample room for nineteen bass, in fact could have stored more, not only that , the x factor has a massive front hatch for extra storage, check it out. :blah:

i dont disbelieve at all ...a couple of years back myself and my fishing partner were invited out on a commercial bass boat .We were just getting back into sea fishing having spent so many years fishing for carp and barbel and chub ..we accepted the invitation but what transpired was indeed an eye opener .We duly went out in a very fast boat and between four anglers and a skipper we had 200 bass in very short order ..time to go said the skipper sorry it was so poor we normally have twice that amount ..Not really my idea of fishing but the experiance was ..exactly that ...and no i dont really wish to fish like that again ...eye opener just the same
