heads up to anyone thiking of buying a shelter in the next few months-HOLD ON, spoke to ian on saturday at a match, and he had a pre-production model of his new shelter-BRILLIANT, lightweight alu frame, seconds to put up, even in the wind, and fully adjustable to suit headroom/floorspace, even has a velcro strip to hold your spare rods outside!-one prob though, my origional beach buddy just won't break!...........might have to treat myself when they come out though! ;D

Was speaking to Dealer about this when looking at his new range of rods the other day, he reckons that you will have to get in quick if you want 1 as demand for it will be huge as in his words the Fecking Mutts nuts . I still use a Trident shelter still going strong :win: .

If they are anything like the quality of his luggage then it'll be brilliant.

I've never used any kind of shelter before. Thinking about getting one for the colder months. Mind you, Jan->March is a bit of a close season for me, after wasting so much time over the last few years.

They are good as long as you can be arsed to carry them Steve (I'm thinking about your long solo hikes ) Also though, I do like fishing Jan - March because although the going is hard, you can often get the odd decent fish (bass/cod/ray) and the beaches are often deserted by sheep anglers and annoying dog walkers alike ;D

Yeah i couldnt be assed with all that However i do want another decent umbrella, my mate jode has a nice one with a flat section built into it so it sits on the ground nicely. Think this was about 80 quid and much more room in it that a beach shelter.
