Looking at a Tohatsu 50hp and these guys have a good price - Ash Marine, Topsham, Devon. Has anyone on here had any dealings with them?

Dont know where your based, but have a word with Extreme Marine in Southampton. He seems a decent enough bloke and claims to be able to give the best prices on Tohatsu outboards.
Note: Sells Tohatsu 2stroke tcw3 oil for £25/5litres if anybodies interested.

Thanks guys, the brothers have been helpful. The only problem I may have is that the installation has to be check by a main dealer to validate the five year warranty and dont fancy towing is 700 miles :-)

Big Man, you haven't put your location up so no one knows what area your from. Yes 700miles is a long way but there are several dealers way up north, try the dealer locator on Tohatsu website.

We bought our Suzuki from Kent because of an unbelievably good deal and then arranged a local suzuki dealer to fit her & validate the warranty. The same engineer comes to us for servicing.
Try to find a local independant Tohatsu approved engineer, they should be happy to fit your new engine as it usually leads to them servicing it for the rest of its life.
