Just out of interest how many hours (approx) are everyone putting on their engines annually?

This will make you laugh. Since buying my Honda allmost 2 years ago , i have just managed to clock up 60 hours (mainly due to weather and time constraints). Still the engine should last a long time at this rate. ;D

iv done 28 hours since i fitted the new lump in july, but iv been very heavly held back on time at sea by weather, moving house and famile illness. this year i would think 120 hours will be easy if the waether plays fair. most of the fishing boats i work on do 60 -150 hour privitly owned and erics boat wight reble does about 1000-1200hours a year , so the range can be huge.
