Came across a thread on another forum regarding a software update for 180/300 units available last April. Theres info on their website but I'm not convinced that I need it. To get it you have to lodge a £75 deposit with them and they send a new C Map card and must return your original in 10 days to get your deposit back. Has anyone updated their units? are the additional features worth the hassle?

Not done it with one of these but have with my Lowrance and it makes quite a difference( new features etc).
