Someone asked if there were any catch reports so thought I'd put this on here...... Well after watching the weather like a hawk over the last week and desperate to get out I decided to go anyway....... Went to my usual parking spot only to find a strange man sitting in his car right next to where I kit up?!!! I hate being watched getting ready My light is bl**dy bright and this is what it looks like with a flag... Anyway after a quick call to CG to let them know, and a weather warning on the way, I set off. The wind was about a F2 and lovely It is very eerie at night and disorientating, but as I'd plotted the channel buoy form a previous trip it was nice to see it looming in the distance. The nav light lit up about 50 foot around and was comforting. Anyway long story short - loads more fish than in the day including about 5 pout and 5 whiting..... oh and about 6 of these buggers! (tried to sleep in my cup holder!) Halfway through these I was joined by Massivo(from Anglers Afloat)which was a good break from the small fish I then switched to massive baits to target a ray or bass but no joy After another quick chat to Massivo, I set off for home, to be greeted by a fog of chilled air and the shore fishermen asking how I got on. I was VERY tempted to paddle to the Isle of Wight but thought better of it because of the weather warning..... Anyway - great night and can't wait to go again ;D Oh AND NO WEED!!! :ahhh:

Yep, around that area although I hadn't paid that attention to the rock formations!! . In my opinion its pretty featureless compared to most which is why I went out on my first night. It can be hit or miss, apart from the stonking Smoothie season
