hi all iv just got a brand new part built boat its 17ft and im in need of a few bits if any of you has any thing i need a good bow roller .2 x 16ft control cables to fit 40hp mariner,
i also need to no were to det some ruber trim its the black stuff like what they used to fit around mini doors
and the rubber bumper stuff that goes all around the boat
any help would be top donky

Olly, if you visit the mainland there is a company in Botley who supply all the rubber mouldings. I cant remeber what they are called but if you are dropping down towards Botley from the Wickham direction it is the industrial estate on the right opposite the pub and behind a used car showroom. The firm is half way along on the right.
I will pm you if I remeber the name!

OK Olly, if you really struggle for anything there is the Chandlery Barge at Burlesdon. They do loads of bits and pieces new and secondhand. You will get your bow roller there and probably stand a good chance with your control cables.
If you have a shopping list I dont mind calling in for you I need to go there early next week. We can probably figure a way to get them over to you even if it means sticking them on the ferry.

hiya snowy thanks for the offers i think iv got all the stuff i need now just got to find some 1 to help me cut the transom to the right size and a hand to fit the fender then the boat is ready for its first dip im getting rather exited about getting it in the water now
