new shimano d series

a new bait runner from shimano aimed at the sea angler has been released .it has shielded bearings is salt corrosion protected has a chunky handle ..is this the reel ive been looking for ...only time would tell .the one thing that puts me off is the write up says that this baitrunner has taken all the best things from the b series and added this and that ...Well i reckon the b series was possibly the worst reel that i have even had the displeasure of owning ...I cannot knock the 45oo reel and i cannot knock the original baitrunners ...but i just dont trust these people anymore ..so anybody got one yet

i should add that i am looking for a reel that i want to use for bass fishing from a boat that will not corrode up in three sessions despite being rinsed off in fresh water and wd.
a reel that is actually an improvement on my 22 year old abu cardinal ..not something that i am still going to video with me smashing it to pieces with a sledge hammer in disgust or should i say both of them as i have two .
