used them last night with hooks upto 5/0 no problems at all, released every time no jamming, will have to try them on a sandy beach to see if that will jam them a little like the impacts, although dunking the impacts in the sea prior to clipping up always sort's the jamming out ;D

they are a top lead and i cant fault them in any way and I will be buying the cast from rovers in fareham to make my own and in 3 diferent sizes as well not to shy for 24 quid and you get 5 setups in the pack so the mould only costs about 14 quid really !!!!!!1

They look good. Let's assume I can get lots of lead for next to nothing. How much does it cost for all the bits for a single lead? Just trying to work out a 'cost per lead' figure.

I think the packs are 10 in a pack and cost about 9 quid if my memory serves me so about 90p each and the cost of the gas to melt the lead

i got gemini normal mould and find the weights a pain on sand it gets stuck in the grip clips and is fiddly to clear out and you can by weights cheaper than the bits to make them but they do look the dogs dusters ;D

I think I lose a few too many to make it worth my while. Like Richie I'll carry on with my Imp's 'n' Cheap-Ass Gippers technology. ;D

got a shed load of old lead so they work out at 90p ea for me which is about the same as cheap leads by the time you add the various bits to a namix to clip up,imps/bait shield/beads etc ,with the gemis you have the added bonus of the bait NOT unclippeing until it hits water what ever the casting style which you don't get with the imps/impacts etc, although the bit's n bob's could be a bit cheaper than £9 squid
