Hi all
If you need to send them anything (Shimano Service Centre)
make sure you keep ALL reciepts give them a copy and know who you are talking to at there end on the phone, been well and truely done on a rod.

Sent them my speedmaster 1V for repair and service and they were ok apart from not having 1 of the parts i needed.

Had a new Shimano spinning rod snap (£120) on the 1st time out.
Gave them a call, was told no problem just send it back to them.
Done the proof of postage thing, and sent the one peice of rod back + the reciept , other bit on the bottom of the overfalls.......,
Called them a week later was told yes they have it will send me a new one out, but they are out of stock.
No problem can wait, no need to keep bits of paper they have the rod.
Few weeks later called them, was told they have sent it to me.
Next day was told they sent it to the wrong address and they would get it back and send it on.
Phoned again and i got WHAT ROD MR WHO have you got the reciept or proof of posting.
Been done a good one.

Been back to the post office he can remember me bring it in but cant help me,
Have talked to the so called boss, and just get a total crap from him :bash: :bash:
One of them things just don't want no one else to get caught out, sure they have 1000s of very happy customers but i just see it theres more than shimano out there and not getting any more of my cash, no matter how good there gear is. :moon:
