i am using and fixed spol at the momnt and i am gunna chnge to mulitplyers. cold anyone give me directons toi the rite way of wot modol to get ?

The best way to start out is with a second hand reel, somthing like a Daiwa 7ht. you should be able to pick one up for relativeley cheap. Make sure you load it with good line, Daiwa tournament is a good one  use tapered shock if you can afford it. Start out casting gently during the day time and slowly build up the power in your cast as you gain more confidence Tightlines, scotty. |

hi chap i wouold personally go for a abu 6500 rocket chap im not used to multiply but my mates abu multiply i can cast with no probs at all but make sure u get one with a level wind

Ive not been fishin with multipliers for long. I got a ABU 6500ct second hand as my first, I picked it up fairly quickly??? Still get the odd birdsnest tho :bash: . Just take your time when you have your 1st few casts, nice and slow movements n dont go for distance with your 1st cast like i did!!!  I'm sure you will be fine. I prefer them to fixed spool reels now. |

Like female species I also cannot be bothered with multipliers even after 15 years fishing (except on the boat). However, if you must, you must but I do suggest you develop a good casting style first with a fixed spool otherwise you will be all over the shop.

Not sure on best prices?? I got my ABU on ebay for£40 second hand, didn't wanna pay full wack incase i really didnt get on with multipliers...
