Hey!
Just joined up and thought id better introduce myself
Found the site thanks to a member we met on hill head marina beach at 4:30am, about an hour ago!
We were fishing 50m from the holiday huts on the far side of hill head marina/wall and recomeneded the site (with quite a passion!)
Thanks for the advice and please let me know your user name, (I didnt catch your name this morning)
Well we should be quite active on here, I live in alverstoke and just got back in to beach fishing a few months ago after 4-5 years since the last time I went, trying to get to know the areas and spots to fish and will hopefully get to meet a few of you.

Excellent, if it was he's a top bloke!
hoping to tag along with some of you and get a bit of advise, even if I randomly turn up if I see a planned meet just to get some info. Ive got a fair bit of basic knowledge, Ive been fishing for well over 10-12 years (mainly coarse but plenty of sea in between), its just the rig names and what setup is best for what location, bait ect, just want to pick peoples brains so I can get a feel for the area.
I fish the sea wall (haslar and I not a litter bug and causing the problems!) but its snagtastic! Ive tried spinning for some bass with a carp rod and a spoon but with no joy there to. I like a bit of spinning, any advice on where to go?
