Anyone know the sea temperature at the mo' ?
What month do you guys venture back onto the water? :catch:
Went out at 5 am 2 weeks ago in a boat ,that was bad enough .......freeeezing .

its 4.5c in the solent at the moment. you can get sea temp for around the solent on bramblemet and its sister sites.
i find fishing will start to drasticaly improve at 9-10c but the are still fish to be found if you look in the right places. fingers crossed the plaice turn up early

Over on "Anglers Afloat" quite a few guys have been out fishing on their kayaks, but all have been wearing drysuits with loads of clothes underneath, the biggest problem I find is cold hands, I was going to go out myself today, but I'm going beach fishing tonight instead
